The HC-8 is an inspection system for drilled through-holes and it
checks the number of holes, hole-diameters, and hole-defects. It is
equipped with high-resolution linear image sensors (CCD).
The HC-8 features the high-end specifications in this field, for example,
the number of inspection holes is as many as 1,000,000, the inspection
hole diameter range (drill bit size) is from 0.1 mm to 8.0 mm, and the
panel thickness covers from 0.08 mm to 10.00 mm.
The inspection method is a comparison inspection system with a good
board (Golden Board) or with a master data that is created based on
the NC drill program. Master data creation on the NC drill program
is quite simple, with the use of exclusive conversion software, named
NHC-II (Option), on any of your existing personal computers.
The adopted high-resolution CCD unit presents the excellent measuring
accuracy of less than plus/minus 20 micron.
The HC-8 surely detects any small discrepancies in 50-micron drill
bit differences and defects as shown in Image, thanks
to its double check method with the practical measurement and area
values.
Our original hardware logic makes the inspection fast and highly accurate,
and the in-line application is also possible.
Operation is quite easy through the use of a mouse on a personal computer
screen.
Any mechanical adjustment is not required.
The inspection result is enlarged on the display,
the mouse can magnify any portion, and a particular
hole defect is simply identified.
As the hard disk stores all the NG data, verification of any defect
is enabled after inspection.
The HC-8 uses a general-purpose fluorescent lamp for its light source,
which saves the running cost.
